On December 31, the skating rink will close at 1 AM.

TELUS Fire on Ice

The TELUS Fire on Ice musical fireworks will project you into a universe of shapes and colors, created and put to music by internationally-recognized fireworks experts, known worldwide for their expertise and originality.

New Year’s Eve Special show at midnight will mark Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve’s 400th birthday.

     

 

New Year's Eve Grand Bal

Celebrate New Year's Eve 2011 in Old Montreal on Place Jacques-Cartier and at the Quays of the Old Port. The Old Montreal Extravaganza’s most known activity: New Year's Eve Grand Bal!

This celebration is probably the most famous activity of the Festival. Each year, tens of thousands of people celebrate the coming of the New Year on Place Jacques-Cartier with traditional folk music. Come admire the fireworks of the Old Port and dance to the free outdoor shows!
